Welcome to your new incentives agency in North East Italy!

"The moon on a stick" is a brand new initiative by Pidelaluna that specialises in offering incentives and events in north eastern Italy. Pidelaluna is an events agency with more than 8 years' experience in conventions, congresses, incentives and other events. Our headquarters are based in Majorca, Spain.

The moon on a stick is based in Vicenza, Italy, where famous architect Andrea Palladio built villas and institutional buildings in the 16th century.

The Basilica, located in Piazza dei Signori (in this photo), was the seat of government and also housed a number of shops on the ground floor. When part of the building collapsed in the sixteenth century, the Council of One Hundred commissioned many architects to submit designs and selected Palladio to reconstruct the building in April 1549. Palladio added a new outer-shell of marble classical forms, a loggia and a portico that now obscure the original Gothic architecture.

Vicenza is situated between Verona and Venice, just 45 kms away from Romeo and Juliet's city, and 60 kms from Venice Lagoon. It is a great starting point for those who prefer to find a good value for money accommodation very close to worldfamous attractions.

Within a radius of a two hundred kms, you can find the Dolomites, the lake Garda, the Brenta river, different national parks and, when approaching Venice or Trieste, nice beaches and small village ports. Each city has different traditions, gastroomic specialties, festivals and unique attractions. There is literally something to do all year long.

Would you like to organize a convention or a meeting in romantic Verona, surrounded by water in unique Venice, or in a cosy mountain hotel placed close to a sky resort? Let us know if we can help you find the perfect venue!
